| I've had Falcon 4.0 for years. I recently got a new 19" LCD monitor and a new
ATI Radeon video card with a digital output to the monitor and 256Mb memory on
the card. I just tried Falcon for the first time with the new video card and
monitor and see that the highest res I can get in the game is 800x600. Is there
a patch out there to increase the resolution? Are there any patches I should get
for the sim? I've never downloaded any patches for it even though I've had it
for a while. Are there any new flight sims out there that I can get good
graphics on? I prefer fighter jets, though prop planes would be alright if they
support high end graphics. Thanks.

There is a really good patch available
Buy Falcon 4 Allied Force.for 19-29$
the original falcon 4 is seven years old. F4AF just came out and basically
it's the same game but updated for todays computer and with a lot of extras
like a Balkans campaign. Its also been rigorously tested so it is considered
vey reliable for most users. There are some differences notably in some of
keyboard commands but your learning curve shouldn't be too bad.

| LOMAC w/ Flaming Cliffs:
Amazon.com has LOMAC (search for Lock On Modern Air Combat) for $14.99
Naturalpoint is the US distributor for Flaming Cliffs add on:

Plenty of eye-candy - not Falcon 4 AF (which I also own), but LOMAC:FC gets
most of my sim time.
