I have just finished a fantastic book, not sure if it was mentioned
here before. It's "Gods of Tin" by James Salter who flew F-86's in
Korea. He became a writer after he left the USAF, and man, does he
have a way with words, describing the magic of flight, the fears and
joys of flying - all of it. It is just a stunning book. It is a slim
volume - not sure how many pages, I think it is only in Hard Cover -
and I think it runs about $24. Well worth it...

It even got me to reinstall "Mig Alley" :-)
