I cannot get RB3D to play on my system. It keeps crashing and wanting
me to send a message report o Sierra. I am running a P4 3ghz, Geforce
5900 vc, maxtor 80gig hd, don't know what the problem is. I keep
reinstalling it, trying to run it with and without the patch, but to
no avail.

Thanks,
Danny

Are you using the Glide wrapper?

Once upon a time there was no such thing as 3D graphics.....everything was
2D.........and into this time Red Baron 2 was born......I was using an ATI
Mach 64 grfx card......with a whole meg of RAM!.......Then a company called
3DFX came upon the idea of a 3D card, with a Graphical Processing Unit (GPU)
to take away the burden from the CPU............I got an Orchid Righteous 3D
(with 4 megs of RAM) which was plugged into the 2D card..........it was
amazing.........in fact alot of other people thought so too.........and so
3DFX became the market leader by a long chalk.........Now when Red Baron 2
was patched to use these 3D cards they decided on only supporting 3DFX chips
running Glide (rather than OpenGL or Direct 3D.....(I had upgraded to a
Voodoo 3 by this time)....And because you are using an incompatible Geforce
card you are getting all the crashes.........but help is at hand!
Its called a Glide Wrapper.........I use DG Voodoo from
http://dege.freeweb.hu/ and have nary a problem with it......it even came
with foolproof screenshot instructions........but there are many out there
so get googling!
