| I've been getting back into Falcon 4.0. I'm not sure what patches are
better than others, so I have installed any yet. Which are the best (most
realistic?) patches? I see a whole bunch of them on the sites: efalcon,
erazor, Sp4, RealismPatch, etc.
Thanks,
Jiyang Chen

| Freefalcon 3 is the best IMO. Also get the hotpatch fix and the elevator
patch to elevate the korea terrain to correct levels and thats all you need.

| I agree tha FF3 is the best right now for ease of install, graphicly
and for standalone Campaigns. If you want the easiest install yet then
you should look at the I.U.C. Team's ver. 1.02 Installer out
*hopefully* this week. All you need to do is install Falcon4 FULL off
the CD. Then you put the FF3 Installer and Tom's pay Hitiles (if you
own them) in the same folder as the IUC installer and run it. It also
installs the L@ Elevated terrain and the IUC Rapace Multiplayer Filter
for online play. Version 1.01 is out now and works well but is based
on an ealier version of the BMS executable. it isn't stable for me, at
least not as stable as the latest version..

| Sorry Wylie, but the fact is WinME was no good the day it came out
(98SE is a better OS) and nobody is going backwards to support it.
Move on to XP...its time..really, do a dual boot if you need 98...

I installed SP4 since I have WinMe, and the throttle doesn't seem to work (I
use a Wingman by Logitech, not a separate throttle). I go to the setup
screen and the throttle is blacked out and doesn't respond. How do I
correct this?
Thanks,

Did you try running SP4 config and turning on the 'Direct Throttle ID
workaround' option? (it was there in SP3, I don't remember if it's still in
SP4 config since I had no problems with my throttle)..

to XP was the day I was able to finally rid myself of problems.

But where can FreeFalcon3 be downloaded from ?
I looked at their website and the only thing I could find was a patch
for FreeFalcon3.
Thanks.

| Youll have to search for it on the net but it is around.
