Author EECH User Manual

I have had EECH for quite some time now, and have added mods and began
flying it again.

I cannot locate my user manual that came with the sim. I have searched
online, and have found the strategy guide, but I really would like to have
the original user manual as well, that explained on lot of the systems and
how to activate them in the program. I am especially interested in the
proper procedure for advancing from one mission to the next in a campaign, I
am not sure I am doing it correctly.

Does anyknown know of any where online that I can download the actual
original user manual in electronic form? I found on Razorworks EECH site,
they offer chapter 6 and 7 of this user manual, but not the first 5, and
that are the chapters I would be most interested in.

Thanks,

Great, yes, I will take it - thanks Andrew!

Yep, just remove clothes to email

Thanks Andrew, but you guessed it, no, I cannot vote Democrat.

Ok, I will stop my search for the manual. Sounds like I am doing the
transition of missions in a campaign how you were doing as well.

I am liking it more and more. Last night though, I had a mission aways off,
had to fly nearly 70 km to get to the objective. My wingman and I hide
behind a hill, bobbing up to get a lock on targets and nailing them with
hellfires. Went by the book, knocked out the aa first, then started taking
out other targets. Got the mission complete message, and started to head
home. What's that? Radar picked up another sam site nearby. Feeling cocky, I
decide to go take it out then head home. Big Mistake! Sucker had a buddy,
and they nailed me! Auugh!!
Going to try it again here shortly.

Tell you what. Vote democrat and I'll post my paper manual to
you at my own expense.

Pardon?

What was that?

Oh, I'll take that as a no then ;-)

Andrew McP... adding a whole new meaning to "manual voting".

PS The manual's pretty weak in the campaign area anyway if I
remember correctly. It took me a lot of trial and error to
feel comfortable with it. In the end I rarely ended a mission
completely, I'd just quit to the main campaign screen when I
was returning or lost an aircraft, and simply assign myself
to another mission -- either one about to start or one in
progress.

The main thing I wanted from the non-existent third sim in
the series was the ability to plan the entire campaign, ie to
assign specific targets (airfields or whatever) for the AI
instead of allowing the campaign engine to do all of it.

The Razorworks guys seem lost to us now, but I'm sure
somewhere deep in their hearts they'd like to do another
flight sim (their ID (Tornado/Hind) pedigree must be tattooed
on their programming souls). But I imagine they just can't
afford to.

If it helps I can email you a 633k file I just made of the
eight sides in the manual that cover the campaign. As I said,
it's not very detailed (and not the pics are pretty poor too
:-) but it might help.

If you want the file I presume it's just a case or removing
the "clothes." from your newsgroup address.
