Oops, you must have missed the statistics from the United Nations regarding
murder rates. I can post them again if you ask nicely. I threw in the
total crime statistics (not "registered burglaries" as you incorrectly
remember) for your benefit knowing you were probably in need of
enlightenment in such things. (And Flamingobrain? Is that what passes for
wit in your part of the world?)

Mr. b, you would be amazed if you were to witness just how great my life
is! I have a great job, a wonderful, gorgeous and supportive wife, a
beautiful house, many good friends, and lots of money and toys, all in one
of the prettiest parts of N. America. Are you sure you aren't projecting
when you talk about a "shitty life"?

As for your favor, apparently I have already spent more time than you
researching these very subjects. I have repeatedly posted the United
Nations statistics on this and they contradict your assertions (much to your
chagrin I'm sure). And again, here is the study I mentioned that
demonstrate the deterrent effect of capital punishment. Many others are
available.

Now now ,there's no call for such language. Am I correct in guessing you
are angry Mr. b? I imagine it must hurt to repeatedly have your beliefs
proven incorrect, but if you can put your ego aside you might learn a
valuable lesson from this experience. Next time, do your homework before
you post.

Have a nice day
Jarg
