No argument here, but the same could be said for murder statistics.
Obviously it is a matter of defintion, with the differences in the various
legal systems making comparison difficult. For example, what might be tried
as murder in one country might be classified as manslaughter in another.
And yes, statistical accuracy also varies greatly from country to country.
Anyway, this is not the issue. My original response was to the statement
"USA's murder statistics is only matched by some African nations". This is
clearly untrue according to the statistical evidence available, and my guess
is that it's real ranking is even lower.
