That article isn't even well written... but by the by. Forza is a
great game, and as I am pretty bored with GT it is a sure fire
diversion, but it only beats GT4 hands down in the fact that it has
online play. I really do enjoy the game, and i wish the two companies
could have meshed the two games together, but Forza looks cheap when
compared with GT4. The AI in both games is thuggish, but in Forza it
is almost as bad as an arcade game.
When I play GT4 I am often stunned by the beauty of it all, where
forza seems almost washed out at times. The driving experience in
Forza is grittier, so it can be more fun, and the little baubles like
stickers etc are a great touch, but all that crap about GT4 only
having hundreds of cars because it gives you many versions of the same
car and I can bet you if I have twenty prize cars in froza I'll have
the same model more than once in a different variation.
I would like to think that what Forza will do is run with the baton,
that Forza 2 will do what people keep saying this one has done. I also
hope that this one scares Polyphony enough for them to get off their
sorry asses and put some excitement back into a game which may look
stunning but has become almost boring.
I love my racing games, I enjoy both of these games, but neither of
them is the perfect game it is often touted as.
