Are the dance dance pads for sony PS1 / PS2 compatible with the dreamcast if
you use a controller convertor? Even though Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix
is available for dreamcast I don't seem to be able to find any pads for it.
I also have a PS1 and it would be nice to be able to use the same pads on
both consoles.

Thanks for any help.

I think there's an adapter that exists for that. then it must be compatible.

I think I remember someone asking this in another newsgroup. With one of the
PSX to DC adapters, someone said that it *should* work...but I'm not positive.
I think this talk came out of the "Feet of Fury" discussions that went on
during its coming release via RGVS(Sega). May want to check Google for more
info, or even try to dev's website as I think they had a list of all compatible
devices the game would accept(IIRC, it would even let you use the DC fishing
rod to play)...

I think I'm going to give it a shot anyway. All totaled it will only be
about $50 for everything (2 dancepads and 2 adapters). Plus the adapters
will let me use a PC keyboard on the DC so I don't have to spend money on
that.

thanks for all the input.
Too bad I had to bust out Ferris Buehler to get a response 8-)

No I haven't, but I've already got DDR 2nd remix for DC, and if I get the
playstation dancepads I can get the games for PS1 as well. I don't want to
have to buy pads for the PC too. thanks for the info.
