Socom Is Not Worth It!

| I have two brothers who constantly play socom. It consumes their lives
and I believe they are throwing their futures away because of it.
Instead of doing homework, studying, or even getting a job, they just
sit up in their rooms and play this game. I have played this game and I
understand that it is a fun game, but it is just too addicting. They
literally have become "vidiots". I think video games are good, but only
in moderation.

What good things in life can't be ruined if not enjoyed in moderation?
There are always people who take things to excess. But don't worry about
them throwing away their futures because of it. They can still become
productive members of society, despite enjoying videogames (look at most of
us in this newsgroup), and if they don't, as long as there are liberals,
there will always be welfare for them to mooch off the rest of us...

| Get them a PSP, then they can play SOCOM in the bathroom, in the
kitchen, on the porch, heck even in a hallway. At least they will be
in other parts of the house.

Yeah, SOCOM is only good if you have good people to play with. Nothing
is more fun than finding a room with about 5 teammates that you know,
or play with on a regular basis, and killing the crap out of the other
team so bad that after the third map they just leave before the final
loss.
Its gratifying.
