| With it *finally* having online play, this should be the best version
ever... BTW, Chromehounds still a 360 exclusive game.

Today SEGA announced that it will publish the newest addition to
FromSoftware's mech-based combat franchise, Armored Core 4. From the
developers of Chromehounds, Armored Core 4 is scheduled for release on
the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next spring.
The latest in the long-running mech series, Armored Core 4 will be
fully online, and a reworked damage system aims to address some
complaints about previous games. Players will also be able to customize
every aspect of their mech in much the same way that the Gran Turismo
series allows players to customize their cars for optimal performance.

Yeah, but from the reviews I've read, you can keep Chromehounds on the
360. It fails to capture any of the 'mech genres: The fast-paced fighter
sim (Gundam/Armored Core), the toe-to-toe-slugging-it-out sim (MechWarrior)
and the strategic, turn-based fans of the original table-top game.

You read wrong. Everyone raves about the MP, especially after the patch.

I dunno if *everyone* raves about the multiplayer, but Chromehounds'
online play really sinks its hooks into you ... and doesn't let go
easily. I can't think of any other online game that gives you so many
options for bringing your own "character" into the arena; the hounds
feel very personal and unique and connected to the player.. I feel
sorry for people who dismiss Chromehounds so easily, really.
