Do you really think this is about high costs?? That would be like EA
going exclusive to just one console. Its about profits. They arent dumb
enough to let such a great game stay on just one console. They are
losing out on too much money out there.
If i were making a game right now, i'd be making it for all platforms
too, including PCs. Maximize profits!

Exactly. Plus if they release a USB guitar then all the systems can
use the same one.

| So Konami is "dumb" to keep MGS4 exclusive to PS3? Square is also
"dumb" since FFXIII (or whatever the number is) is exclusive
too...right? Or maybe you think those games don't have high costs..?

The answer to the first two questions would be "yes", if they weren't
getting huge amounts of payola from Sony. All the console mfgs have done it
for YEARS.

Japanese developers have a higher loyalty than other developers. You're
smart, you should have known that.
MGS4 could easily double its sales by going multi-platform. Yeah, they're
'dumb'

Dammit, and I was looking forward to not playing this on the PS3 only.
So now I have to make sure I don't accidentally pick up the 360 version
right before I get to the checkout counter. My life has just become so
much more complicated...
