| I'm gonna chip my PS 2 that is the latest version 14. I'm just
wondering if someone could give me some advice on where to place the
chip in the tiny box and so on.

when you buy a chip you get instructions.
better to buy a premod & sell your old one.

or you don't even have to mod it. You can use the hmm... what's its
name? It doesn't even require you to open the PS2, just insert the
little thingy, slide it and that's it.

Agreed, unless you're REALLY patient and have a fine tip soldering iron and
at least some basic knowledge of soldering, you're much better off getting a
premodded one. I have lots of experience and it was a pain in the XXX. Plus
the instructions they gave were lame. They had you disconnect a cable that
was incredibly hard to get back in, and turns out you didn't need to
disconnect it at all (I came up with my own system after my sixth
disassembly).
