Why fred, I'm touched. You've gotten so desparate to prove to me that you're
not a total raving loon, that you're willing to just believe any rumor
posted to a game board by some anonymous user.
First off, fred, it's a rumor. Sony has made no such announcement about a
HDD enabled PSP, nor how this will affect the PSP's games.
Second, even the rumor strongly indicates that if such a HDD were
included, it would ONLY affect audio/video media playback - NOT GAMES.
Essentially, the HDD would be like having an oversize memory stick inside
a PSP.
Try to understand, fred, that this is a different situation than the
boondoggle Microsoft is embarking on because Microsoft has said the 360's
optional HDD CAN be used by games whereas Sony has said...well, nothing at
all about a PSP HDD.
Perhaps you should have someone explain the difference between "rumor" and
"fact".
