Hello World unsigned code now runs from the memory stick with the PSP
firmware 2.0 overflow buffer exploit and so does the Plasma screen
demo. A memory dumper has also showed up. The cool thing about the
Hello World code is that it doesn't lock up the PSP, just overlays
"Hello World By groepaz (toc2rta)" on the screen. Just tried it myself
and this exploit is going to be a lot easier to use than the previous
ones. When this started happening for the PSP firmware 1.0, it was
about two weeks before there were emulators showing up. Of course,
there is more work involved for the PSP firmware 2.0. Lots more cool
stuff showing up though.
