You forgot 2 things:

1) IGN are total Sony marks to the point you think Kutaragi is handing
them Sailor-dressed Japanese prostitutes under the table. Until I hear
the release plans, I'd take a (usual) pro-Sony IGN article with a salt
mine.

2) Up until as early as 2 weeks ago in Famitsu, Itagaki was singing the
praises of the 360.

oh, and one other thing: Your crossposting to other interest groups
borders on trolling.
