Add this report from Bandai at the xflop 1.5 full circle summit 2005:
"A trailer of the game was prepared for the event but was canceled at
the last minute by company president Shin Unozawa. Unozawa apologized
to the visitors and explained that the trailer could not be shown
because the game's quality is still far below that of the PlayStation
3's Gundam demo, which was shown during Sony's PlayStation Meeting 2005
conference last week. Unozawa did mention that the game would be on
display in some form or another at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show."
Think of what the audience was thinking, "Oohhh, we wanted to show you
the xflop 1.5 full circle version of Gundam on the xflop 1.5 full
circle but realized it looked really crappy compared to the PS3 version
running on beta devkits last week at the Playstation conference." This
is what the DEVELOPER is saying after being able to compare the two.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
It is also strangely quiet about what was being shown at the xflop 1.5
full circle summit. At this point, they should have had an EDM
(Engineering Development Model), not a beta devkit to demonstrate but
it doesn't sound like it.
Those scenes on the PS3 are not all that different. It can be seen
those are the same sequences as shown in the game demo at E3. The
difference is the PROOF is a camcorder shot of a display monitor so it
is showing the quality of the camcorder more than anything else.
