Other than syncretism? I'm confused. Is this discussing the idea of being
told something else is intolerant? As in, if someone was trying to have
some syncretistic view and someone told them that they believed another
view, that would be intolerant?

I'd agree. It has stepped over the line now a days, where no different
views other than pure secular views are allowed.

Perhaps. It would be a dominant intolerance. So would not tolerating those
that haven't professed a belief in Christ. What you need to ask yourself is
probably when is tolerance bad and when is intolerance good?
The Buddhists call it misplace tolerance.
