| Does the new PS2 have any extra functionality, e.g quicker run-speed
or is it just another marketing con?

It takes up less space, that in itself is pretty functional if you have a
crowded Ent. center, It also goes online w/o needing you to purchase a
second ethernet adapter

| Regarding the "Ent. center" comment, be sure to keep it where it can
get lots of air flow. Putting the unit in an enclosed entertainment
center will kill it quickly due to the heat build up. Also, don't put
it on top of anything that generates heat itself.

| Get the vertical stand, either the original metal one or the cheapo
plastic one. It increases the airflow and looks better.
