What is a swap disk? i think i know what it is but not sure. i see them
mentioned in a few recent posts. also if i am correct about what they
are where can i get one? i think they are comparable to the boot disks
like i used to use on my old pc. but if i am right where can i purchase
one?

Ebay for about 20 quid.
I got one recently. My reasons were not for playing "backups" but to allow
my gf to play Japanese games particularly Dragon Quest which for some reason
they are mad about over there.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just get a PS2 from that region and then you
wouldnt have to mess with swapping disks everytime you wanted to play a
game, that would drive me nuts.

might drive some people nuts having to do that but as for me however i
cant afford another ps2 ( at least not until this one bites the dust)
so a swap disk is what i may end up getting since i have seen a few
games never released in America. and i want to play some. thanks for the
info..
