$20 is what I paid for mine, a few months ago, and for what the game
was, I found it worth that (but not more). Then again, I'm cheap.

I'm not a gen-one purist, so I wasn't nearly as annoyed as some were
that this was based on the Armada series. There were portions of the
game that were a definite challenge on the medium difficulty setting;
the hard setting kicked my XXX in all kinds of ways, but since the only
thing you get is a few more unlockables, I didn't feel it worth
re-playing right away on the hardest setting.

There was certainly plenty of variety, in terms of tactics used in
gameplay, based on the situations and the different combinations of
power-ups (from the minicons) that you could use. There weren't enough
places where it was necessary or worthwhile to use vehicle mode, so I
spent nearly all of the time running around in robot mode. The game
looked good, especially on a widescreen TV, and it was a fun way to
spend $20. If you like third-person action games or shooters, with a
little bit of platforming thrown in, you'd enjoy this.

I enjoyed it.
Many didn't, but I found it an excellent third person shooter.
To be honest I hardley ever used the transformer bit, so that was a waste.

And it's pretty easy to complete - I know this as I did manage to do so and
my skill (and patience) in these things is quite limited.

However, I would rate it graphically - 't'was very nice to play in that
regard.
Enemy AI wasn't bad either with the enemy running and hiding if you had a
serious amount of firepower strapped on.
Def' worth $20 in my opinion.
Quite a bit of replay ability to get all the minicon addons - once you've
got them all then the game is a lot of fun!

To add a guage to this, I don't like the GTA series, but did like the Matrix
and Conflict series of games - which I think makes me in the minority.

Heh, I just picked it up today, it is very nice, my only complaint is you
only have 3 autobots to choose from and they are all cars, I wish maybe they
had some planes or boats too maybe some missions that required you to use
these forms to get past obstacles and such, but still very nice game.
