| does anyone use the ps2 through
a video card with s-video input,
using dscaler to deinterlace the signal?
if so, i'd like to know his configuration (especially deinterlace
method, and filter settings) for the best result.

First of all it will look like shit compared to a tv.
secondly, the standard settings are about the best you will get.
Video Method = TomsMoComp
Aspect Ratio = Embedded Signal
Judder Termination = On
Pixel Width = 640
Auto Film Detection = On
Fallback on bad pulldown = On
