| Does any know any info about the HD Loader program for the PS2 and the use
of a hard drive? I have some limited info but would like to know some
specific info from people that have used this program

| Google is your friend.
If you have a specific question, I can try to help.
One thing I can tell you, HD Loader is no longer for sale, but its bastard
cousin, HD Advance is.

| My question is, would a burnt copy of hd loader work on the ps2 w/out a mod
chip if it was burnt on a dvdr? Also is hd advanced the same thing, does it
work primarily the same way? One other question is I have seen that HD
Loader is still being sold on some sites I would imagine that it should be
ok to purchase off one of these sites?

| One last question is what does this mean? If you have a modified PS2 do you
still need a Slide Tool or Flip Top Cover to load backups or imports onto
HDD?

Nope. Original disc or copy + modchip

Nope. Just a modchip. Most ppl who use HDD loader and have no chip will
load direct from PC to HDD.

| There is a third way.
Memory Card exploit.

Almost chicken and egg there though, as you need access to a PS2 which
will boot a CDR...i'e a modded or swappable one.
I did notice someone selling them on ebay preloaded with the exploit
of your choice for 25 quid....which is only 5 quid more than a memory
card anyhow.

With Datel's Action Replay MAX you could download the PS2 exploit to
your PC, copy it to a USB memory stick and run it in an unmodified
Playstation:

| Nope.
I don't have a modded PS2 and use the memory card exploit.
You do need a file transfer program like AR Max.
