Well I have had almost all the consoles over the past many years
(Dreamcast,PS1,2,3-Xbox,Xbox360,Wii) and they have all had their various
issues at and past launch. I don't remember being deafened by any of their
problems. In fact I had 3 PS1's 2 PS2's 2 DC's 1 Xbox with two replacement
DVD drives and am currently waiting on a repair for my Launch 360. The PS3
has been out a month. I am sure over time it will develop issues. Most of
these game consoles and particularly the launch units seem to crap out one
way or another. I will say this though after seeing the PS3 in action in my
home the past two days I think it's a great piece of hardware. The interface
although confusing at first has a million options/features. Well done and
RFOM, GTHD, RR7 and MS are a good start. Iceage BD was excellent as well.
Hopefully it won't be a crap launch unit like most of the other launch
hardware I have owned. No matter what though it will take a lot to out pace
the crapdom that was the PS1. What a pice of overheating upside down piece
of shit that was.
