Most of which will be ported to PS3. Like most other games that will be
released on 360 other then in house exclusives.

I'm still waiting for a 360 exclusive to be released, so expecting Sony
to have any right out of the box would be foolish. I guess you can
count Oblivion, but what's that... one game so far? And it's not even
really an exclusive. You can play it on PC as well. In fact most every
360 game will be out on PC. Not the same for Sony. I know a PC
comparison's not practical because of the cost, but nevertheless, if
you have one, why would you buy the game on 360? To run bug free!?
Yeah, right! There goes part of the Xbox's exclusives market share
right there. If you have a good PC, why get a 360 to play the same
games, might as well get a PS3.
There is Xbox Live, and that may be the Xbox's only advantage right
now. But with both Sony and the Wii going online, that exclusivity will
be short lived.

That's Sony stealing idea's trying to make them better (hopefully),
doing the expected. The big N is once again doing the unexpected, and
will it work? I dunno.

Naw, the new MGS should be pretty impressive. As for they won't be
ready until next year... so what? Play your 360 now, like I am, and get
these new games when they're released. I can care less when they're
released, just as long as they're fun to play when they are.

The problem here is that the hype is real. PS3 games may not seem more
impressive then 360 games right now, but the potential is there. With
the cell processor, free online play, required hard drive for games,
and a Blu-ray drive, there is more opportunity to create something
original. And just as with the PS2, there will be plenty of Japanese
games that you can only find on PS3. Sony had huge support for it's
previous playstation consoles and there's no reason to believe that's
going to end with PS3. The fact that no one is buying a 360 in japan is
proof that the PS3 will flourish. And how long will the Japanese
companies keep supporting the 360 once PS3 and the Wii take up most
their time? Like I said, I like my 360, but the PS3 is going to have
too many games I'll want to play too.
And please don't tell me that the mainstream can't afford it. HD-TV
prices are falling rapidly everyday, and most the new original TV
content is being produced with HD in mind. So many more people are
going to begin getting HD-TV's in their homes. And that just makes the
HD ready PS3 that much more desirable. As for the PS3, well most gamers
aren't little kids anymore who need mommy to buy them everything. There
are more then enough older gamers to keep Sony in business, gamers that
can afford something like this. (They were able to afford the 360
right?) Then after a while the price will drop, there will be more
games availible, and people, like kids or the less fortunate, who are
probably still playing PS2 games at this point will finally be able to
buy one. And like the PSOne and the PS2 had, there will already be
plenty of games for them to buy at resonable prices, plus the backlog
of PSOne and PS2 games. Sony's yet to fail in this strategy, and I see
no reason why a little pricer console will change anything.
