| My son and I have been trying to defeat this friggin Bomb Guardian. I
think we need to hit it in the mouth when its ready to launch a single
bomb?? Missiles give damage. Does the supercharge shot work at all
on it?
Any clues on when it is vulnerable to attack would be appreciated.
Thanks

Supercharge should do it. Hit it in the glowing end repeatly. It should flash
yellow to indicate being stunned. Eventually it will rear up on its front end,
glowing there. Hit that repeatedly for damage. Avoid the bombs it drops.
Repeat until done.

This is not the hardest spot! Shortly afterwards I ended up at the bottom of
this big room of water with some monster that keeps ramming me. I can't kill
it no matter what, and got tired of dying. Anyone know what I'm talking
about, and how to beat it? I'm on the verge of selling my copy because I
can't seem to get past this one point.

Alpha Blogg.
After dodging it, it should be stuck in the wall at this point.
Go to the opposite side of the room, right up against the wall, giving you the
most distance between you and it, so as to give you the most time as possible
to do further dodging.
Shoot a charge shot into its back to get its attention. Immediately build up a
charge shot (it's coming fast!), and squeeze off a super missle, then dodge --
no time to waste.
Successful super missile hits will kill it pretty fast. Fast super missles do
take some practice -- set up a practice file for that if you want, or practice
before going to fight the boss.
If you can't do super missles good enough, then squeezing off charged dark
beam shots should eventually be good enough.
The main trick here is to give yourself enough room to dodge, so back against
that opposite wall before firing.
If you got this far, you must have beat the boost guardian, which is quite a
bit harder.
