No man, it looks great; certainly more interesting than the standard unit.
But if it were me, I'd buy a new controller rather than risk
smudging/rubbing off the paint. Then again, same could happen to the
system buttons... Maybe you should try some sort of protective clear coat?
(testing it on the peripheral port covers first)
