Top Game Cube Games for Kids ages 7 and 10
|

| Hello,
I was thinking about buying a gamecube unit and wanted to know what
the top games are for my kids ages (Ages 7 (Boy) and 10 (Girl).
I started a list as follows:
1. The legend of Zelda - The Wind waker
2. Luigi Mansion
3. Mario Kart - Double DAsh
4. Disney Extreme Skate
I know there are Gamecube bundle paks available with Spiderman and
Metroid prime but it looks like those games are for teens.
Any other suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

For kids (and adults) I would suggest:
PacMan World 2
Pikmin 2
Wario World
I-Ninja
Sonic Heroes
I don't have, but we have tried and liked:
Sponge Bob Battle for Bikini Bottom
Star Fox Adventures (rather like Zelda, actually)

Agree with your top 3, but not so sure about 4. My sons (8 & 10)
would add to your list:
- Mario Party 5
- Donkey Konga (this is great fun, and good learning tool at the same
time)
- Smash Bros (I fail to see the appeal of this game, but for some
reason kids seem to love it)

My daughter is 10 and she enjoys playing the following games: (we have
to many to choose from):
* Mario Party 4 & 5 (even single player mode. grab a strategy guide
and she loves it).
* Mario Kart (would rather play with me in co-op mode although starting
to play more by herself)
* Quiddich world cup (beats me at that)
* NBA Live 2003 (basketball)
* Just started playing Pikmin
* Zelda
* Crash Bandicoot
* Simpsons road rage
* Tetris Worlds
others I can't recall right now...
Note she finds the music from Harry Potter (COS) a little haunting
cheers,
JED
