Author Recommended Pokemon Sapphire FAQ (not walkthrough)?

Hi there.

I'm after a simple to understand FAQ on Pokemon Sapphire that will allow
me play the game to gain maximum advantage, but will not give away the
story and too many fun surprises. I see a hell of a lot of FAQs out
there after a little Googling, but wonder if someone here hasn't already
found a really helpful FAQ.

TIA,
Jamie Kahn Genet

Definitely a first stop for many. Also, try http://www.serebii.net/ They're
a dedicated Pokemon site with detailed info as well.

I believe he's looking for someone to suggest one for him so that he
doesn't have to trawl through lots of them to find a decent one, finding
a pile of spoilers along the way.

Well, the FAQs don't have spoilers like the walkthroughs do. If you look
through the titles of the FAQs it should be easy to figure out which one
you need, but if he's looking for a recommendation, he'll need to be
more specific than something to "gain maximum advantage."

Quite right. I figure you guys must already know of some good material
and may not mind putting me on to it :-)

Umm... ok, I'd love a Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby specific Pokedex, tips on
breeding (I found
<http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gba...rs_breeding.txt>
already, and while stats are nice, some more general breeding tips would
be helpful), giving of TMs and HMs to the Pokemon who will use them
best, team dynamics (which Pokemon complement each other well, etc),
which moves I ought to keep or discard - that sort of thing.

I'm especially worried about wasting TMs. I've only used surf on my male
(I understand TMs only pass through Males in breeding - correct?)
Swampert, and that's all so far. I'd hate to waste any as I'm playing
solo and do not want to start over. I've put too much time and effort
into this :-)

Thank you fluxxdog, I'll check it out. Googling for Pokemon links proved
amazingly hopeless. I'm not sure why that is.

There's another breeding guide under the one you mentioned, and a couple
of FAQs that deal with movesets, like "Moveset Guide." You'll find TM
suggestions in documents like that, as well.
