| I've seen the screwed up screens and I honestly don't see how it
happens. I've used my DS for many hours with not even a slight scratch
on the screen. Sometimes I think that's just gunk from the stylus or
thumbcap that's on the screen and if you clean it well, it will come
off.
Then again, I let someone play my DS briefly at a Meetup.com gathering
and that guy was playing pretty rough, hitting the screen hard and
spitting when he blew on it (WarioWare). Maybe someone like that would
break it... but the thing is pretty sturdy. I wouldn't worry about
scratching it up unless you use metal objects on the screen... in which
case you get what you deserve for mistreating your toys.
