Built-in PDA Soft for the DS - please report
|

| Hello,
I am seriously considering to get the DS when it is sold in Europe.
But I may be an irregular customer as I am interested in the (basic)
PIM/PDA possibilities of the DS as well as the gaming.
If you own a DS, please report what it can do.
1) Is there a built in adress manager?
2) Is there a built in timeplanner?
3) How good is the notepad function (stylus)?
4) Is it possible to view *.rtf or *.txt files?
I do not need a browser.
Sync to PC would be nice.
Please tell about your experience with the DS as a filofax
replacement.
The alternative would be the Palm T3 because it can run LucasArts
Adventures.
cheers
Stephan

There is no notepad function. There is picochat where you can chat to other
people.

Not that I know of.

It's not possible in this moment in time. I have heard there may be such
software available in the future though.

Hey, it does have an alarm clock and a calendar (but no, you can't set
appointments. Count it as a very expensive travel alarm.)
