The Sega CD version is actually the single best FMV game I've ever
played. It comes *extremely* close to appearing and functioning like
early 3D games did. In fact, Shining the Holy Arc on Saturn even
rendered the same mansion, and had similar (though much faster)
controls. The Saturn version added floating heads to the aspect of
"ghosts" in the rooms talking to you, which, in Bel's and my own
opinion takes away from the atmosphere more than a little bit. On the
upside, the Saturn game has virtually no load time, and much better
colors, if I recall correctly.
