Well I know it's off topic, but I was wondering if anyone here has
played the game and if so what you think of it. I've been considering
picking one up off of eBay, playing it through, than reselling it (I
figure I can at least get my money back). I imagine it's a bit
overrated (and it's definitely over priced), but after playing through
PD2 recently, I'm kinda inspired to try it out.

It is an extremely unique RPG, with a kind of real time battle
setup that's still manages to be turned based as well, but gives you the
feel of being in an aerial battle. The storyline is very well done,
with none of the drivel you'd find in a bad prime time soap, or Final
Fantasy, but plenty of character and good writing. The language they
hodgepodged for the speech is a cool little detail that post-Dreamcast
Sega games would never even attempt. Finally, it is one of the few 3D
games of that generation which features full scene lighting and time of
day changes corresponding to it. It's not the best RPG ever, that title
would require a gigantic pissing contest, nerd arms flailing, conducted
by an "unbiased" game magazine, but it is one of the best. Now, whether
it's worth over $100, I'm not sure, but I don't think any game is that
doesn't come with a really spiffy cabinet. ;)
