32X emulator for the Mac

| Don't want to start a whole PC/Mac debate (well.. it's tempting...) but
does anyone know if there's an emulator available for the Mac that
plays 32X games?
The Gens source code won't compile on OS-X (for numerous reasons) and
neither Generator nor Genesis Plus play 32X games.
Cheers,

As far as I know, there is no Mac emulator for 32X or Sega CD,
unfortunately. Back when I only had a Mac, I had to jump on the
girlfriend's PC to use Gens. If you've got a *really* powerful Mac, you may
be able to run Virtual PC, or something similar, and use it for PC Gens.

Kinda funny to run an emulator on top of an emulator (not to mention the
irony of the fact that the Genesis uses a Motorola 68000 -- a processor
which Apple itself has used). At the very least with the Macs coming to
Intel, programs like Qemu should get quite a speed boost. It's already
possible to run Qemu at ~85-90% native speed when emulating an x86
processor on an x86 processor in Linux.

Agreed....though, don't forget, OS 9 is pretty much emulated in OSX's "Classic"
mode. ;)

Yeah, the Intel chips in the Macs are going to change the Mac software scene
quite a bit. I'd expect to see a flood of PC-only apps and stuff hitting the Mac
in this coming year, once people figure out how to mod the programs to run in
OSX.
