Hmmmm, have you tried cleaning the cart slot? That'd be my first approach.
After that, check the video cable to make sure it's pushed in all the way,
has no cuts in the cord, isn't rusted, etc. Also, and I don't know if it
matters nowadays, but try switching the channel changer on the back and
forth.
