Author 50/60Hz switch for 32X?

I have acquired a US copy of Doom for the 32X recently. My Genesis has a
50/60Hz switch, but flipping that one is not enough to play NTSC games on
my PAL 32X. (I can see all the graphics produced by the Genesis, but not
the ones that come from the 32X.)

Is it possible to add a 50/60Hz switch to the 32X or will I have to buy an
NTSC 32X to use with my Genesis in 60Hz mode? Or is it possible to use an
Action Replay Pro?

I don't think there is a lockout. If there was, the game wouldn't play at
all. Did you make sure your 32X is hooked up properly to your Megadrive?
Have you tried other games?

Just for future reference:

So according to this a US 32x + switched PAL MD + flip it to NTSC = US
carts work; but PAL 32x + switched PAL MD + flipped to NTSC = no US NTSC
carts work? Strange.

The security check might be limited to certain carts. A US VRD won't
play on a Jap MD, but most (all?) other US carts either work fine or are
dual-language carts.
