Hi there everyone,

I was wondering if there are any of you out there that have purchased
the Sega Megadrive/Genesis 6-in-1 Control Pad from Radica ??
What are your opinions of it ???

I bought it myself last Saturday here in Sydney for $AUS 39.95 as a
Christmas present. Being burnt by these TV games before I wanted to try
it & I am pretty impressed by it! The controller itself is very firm &
the buttons are really good & strong & firm. The power pack is shaped
like a mini Megadrive 2 which has the power button on it. The 6 games
all run fine (SONIC 1, KID CHAMELEON, FLICKY, GOLDEN AXE, ALTERED BEAST,
DR ROBOTNIK'S MEAN BEAN MACHINE).

I am curious if anyone knows any technical details of this unit ? It
seems to be running the games through an emulation, as I can tell
differences in the sound in that I can notice certain sound channels
lacking. Any of you hardcore fans will notice missing background
channels in the music for the Marble Zone in Sonic 1, & the first levels
of Kid Chameleon for example.

So if any other people out there have this unit, I would love to hear
their opinions !!

Thanks,
Brad.
P.S. Anyone know if any more of these units are planned ???

Hi,

I also have the NAMCO (PACMAN) joystick, ACTIVISION joystick, & the
MS-PACMAN/GALAGA joystick as well. Well they are actually all presents
for Christmas. It is more for the convenience then anything else. Wasn't
interested in the ATARI one but I am very interested in the C64 one. How
does it rate ?? What games exactly does it have & are they accurate
emulations of the games ???

waste it? Otherwise, and in general, use ham or salt pork to season greens.
The technique of smothering greens can be used with many vegetables;
green beans work especially well. Meat is not necessary every day, don?t
be afraid to alter any dish to vegetarian tastes.

1 premature baby, born dead
Large bunch of mustard greens
2 white onions, 1 cup chopped celery
Vegetable oil (or hog fat)
Salt, pepper, garlic, etc.

Lightly brown onions, celery, garlic and meat in large heavy pot.
Add a little water and the greens (which should be thoroughly cleaned and washed).
Smother slowly for at least 2 hours, adding small amounts of water
when it starts to stick.
Stir frequently.
When ready - serve with rice, grilled smoked sausage, green salad, and iced tea.
Coffee and apple pie then brandy.

Maternity Ward Pot Luck Dinner

If you can?t get anything fresh from the hospital, nursery, or morgue;
you can at least get rid of all the leftovers in your refrigerator.

1 - 2 lbs. cubed meat (human flesh, chicken, turkey, beef...)
1 -2 lbs. coarsely chopped vegetables
(carrots, potatoes, turnips, cauliflower, cabbage...)
Bell pepper
onions
garlic
ginger
salt pepper, etc.
Olive oil
butter

Brown the meat and some chopped onions, peppers, and garilic in olive oil,
place in baking dish, layer with vegetables seasoning and butter.
Bake at 325° for 30 - 45 minutes.
Serve with hot dinner rolls, fruit salad and sparkling water.

I got mine free with Retro Gaming magazine. The sound is distorted and
mono rather than stereo. Very poor quality - you're better off buying a
real genesis and the original games or sticking with an emulator.
