Does anyone know if the Genesis version of Weaponlord ever came in a
hard plastic clamshell case or was it only sold in the cheapo
cardboard box?

A lot of Genesis games, towards the end of the Genesis' life starting
being re-released with the cardboard boxes...so even though you may find
something that's in the box, it's possible that it was also released in
the shell as well.

Well, I remember Stormlord coming in a cheap carboard box (early in the
Gennys life) and the Ballistix games usually came in cardboard boxes, I also
believe Accolade did as well.

Yeah, Accolade used their own kind of cardboard box(a traditional bottom and top
set) back before they got a license with Sega(I think their first game to use
the plastic clamshell was Bubsy II).

Yeah, most of the CV Bloodlines or Vectorman games I come across are
in cardboard boxes. Risk too. And I've never seen a clamshell copy of
Doom Troopers either...

Yeah, I managed to get a hold of clamshell copies of Risk and
Bloodlines, but it wasn't so easy. (Especially Bloodlines).

I got mine on E-bay last year, so there's hope. It was $10 too. ;)
