Those are pretty cool...but the two that look like a PS One

As I recall, when you flip the top you see a slot instead of a CD drive
spindle. Which makes the flip top more decorative than functional. The
idea is that these are budget machines intended for a market segment that
might not be able to afford a system with disc-based media. Not that it
would fool anybody, but a casual glance at the console and its controllers
might not reveal how fake and unlicensed these things are.

I wonder if they're just pirate famicom consoles since I can't say I've seen
many pirate Mega Drives.

Believe me, there are plenty of HKO Mega Drives. I used to own a Scorpion
XVI, which I bought in the high street here in the UK back when the console
was top of the range

I just found something similar. It is called Mastergames, has several NES
games built in already and it is supposed to also run modules.

This one looks like a PS One and I found it at Ebay Germany:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?R3D314FB9

I hope I'll get one for a few Euros. I'm pretty sure it is total crap, but
on the other hand it might be fun...

I also found out that Mastergames consoles can be bought on Czech
fleamarkets for about 25 Euros.

Here's another one that looks like a Genesis II:

It does not even seem to have a real slot for modules.

It has switched near the MegaCD plug in slot that allows you to select PAL
or NTSC and 50hz or 60Hz refresh.
