I have a japanese sega mega drive II, I need an adapter to circumvent the
software country protection so I can play UK games on it, anyone know where
I can get one?

Thanks

You can always use a Game Genie and use codes to bypass territorial lockouts
on certain games.

I think I need the mega key, the one with the switches like on here
http://www.robwebb.clara.co.uk/shop...e/megadrive.htm
but i'm not sure if it'll work with a Jap megadrive.

What games in particular are you trying to get to work on your Mega Drive?

It should work as all it's doing is joining a particular set of
internal jumpers via the cart port. Very odd though that it has a
Brazil setting as no Brazil carts have lockout and I don't think PAL-M
is even achievable on the standard Genesis/MD jumpers. They most
likely output in NTSC (or NTSC-50). The cartridges are NTSC as well.
