I'm digging it man, keep up the good work. Oh, and in order to get
more hits you have to put porn, or pics that can be construed as porn,
up. Otherwise, no matter how much content is there, people will just
look for the controversy, read it once, and then leave. However, do not
lose hope, as in a few more years there'll be nobody left who even
remembers the 16-bit days, who'll also talk about it, and sites like
yours will be all there is to remind people. Who knows, maybe somebody
will write a history book, a real one, you know, not sponsered by
Nintendo, and will use your site as a source of information. If we
don't mark it down now, we'll likely forget our thoughts later.

Yeah, I was just thinking last night about how I need to get rid of
the box art section as it's no longer working, lest I upload all that
stuff to another server. I'm thinking it's more hassle than it's
worth, however, as I'm sure very few people care about seeing that
stuff anymore and, if they do, there are other websites better than
mine for for cover scans.

Thanks. I like updating the page. I'd like to expand. There are tons
of pages with game reviews but I want to move beyond that and try to
throw in some fresh content, come up with something different. Your
page, for example, is very unique in what it offers. Your screenshots
comparison section and your articles in general are very cool.

Yeah, well I know a lot of people who "collect" Genesis stuff but very
few people who actually play the Genesis/Megadrive as their console of
choice. Maybe it's because most of you had Segas when you were young,
and so after 10-15 years it's not as thrilling to play anymore. I
don't know. I, on the other hand, have only owned a Genesis for the
past 5 years, and so there are still a lot of games I've hardly played
and that still have a lot of life left in them for me. (Not to mention
the fact that there are games like Bloodlines and Golden Axe that I
never get sick of no matter how much I play them.)
It seems to me though that most people who are into the Genesis aren't
really 16-bit gamers anymore so much as they are nostalgists or
collectors. I think the same can be said about about most people who
are into the "retro" console scene in general.

Don't think that I have the monopoly on game comparisons by any means.
I only have so much time, money, games and creativity. Phil has
comparison videos up that dwarf my page in scope, and I'd love to see
more comparisons. Between the interested members of RGVS and ASG I'm
sure we could do everything that was ever compared, in a game magazine
or online, just so there's something beyond personal opinion to link to
should the discussion come up again.

I only owned about 20 or so Genesis games at once back in the day, and
there are at least 100 that I have yet to play through all the way,
though I probably have picked up a good chunk of them. These games are
simply classic, next to none of them save the racers have had an
adequate next gen presence, so you can bet your butt I'm still playing them.

I play them because they're still great, I make my web page out of
nostalgia. ;)

It seems your a great fan of the megadrive/genesis.
My personnal website purpose is to register some good records (score, number of lives etc ...).
Currently, I have only one entry for the MD.

Hmm. I never really keep track of my score. I usually just try to
finish a game. Besides, my gaming skills are quite modest and I never
really have scores to brag about. I don't think I have enough patience
to master anything.

Oh, and thanks for the link ref. BTW, I don't know if you've seen Bel's
page, Whip XXX gaming, but he's got *way* more Genesis stuff than I do.
Check it out, it's a great sight with VG related PrON too. ;)
