| Mike Goodall has been in a car accident
Mike Goodall was in a car accident while driving to the US Open in
Chicago. He fell asleep while driving 70 Mph and hit a wall.
He is in a hospital in Santa Rosa, California. He is out of intensive
care. He has a fractured vertebra with no nerve damage and no facial
injuries.
Mike finished third in the recent election for USCF Executive Board

| I just spoke to Mike Goodall in the hospital. He is in-good spirits.
He told me to tell the delegates that he is sorry he cannot attend the
meeting. This will be the first meeting he has missed in nine years.
He says that he will see you next year.
Mike appreciate your condolences and concerns. He says that he is sure
that he will talk to you eventually. The spinal injury in his lower
back. It could have been a lot worse. He is thankful that no one else
was hurt, even though the accident occurred on the freeway.
