While I do make mistakes from time to time, I do not lie, and am
offended by the comment that I have done so here.

"The ratification motion in the Delegate agenda was modified to include
ratification of the July conference call, but only after minutes of
that meeting were made available to the Delegates, which was why the
ratification motion was deferred to later in the meeting." [-- Mike
Nolan]

Clearly, the ratification motion which passed was *not* in its original
form as it appeared in the 2005 Delegates Call, but as *amended* by the
Delegates at the meeting. Sam Sloan was not present when the changes
occurred, a fact which did not go unnoticed by many of us present at
the meeting.

An apology from Sam Sloan for saying that I lied is in order. I
reported the truth as I know it, and to the best of my knowledge what I
have said is true.

Best regards,

George John
