I have met Bill Hall and I feel that he is a good choice and will make
a good executive director. He certainly could not be worse than a few
of the others we have had.

He seems to understand clearly who his new boses are and he made the
shift in allegiance quickly.

The real question will arise if and when the new board decides to move
out of Crossville. That will not happen for a while, however.

Yes. Requiring tournament chess players to play in the nude in big
money tournaments would certainly help solve the very serious problem
of players using pocket computers to help them with the moves, of
receiving moves via cell phone and, since the toilets would be open to
the public too, of receiving and transmitting chess moves while
sitting on the toilet.
