That man , Bill Brock, was not too sympatic, but I'm sure he would try to
make revenge. I think that he couldn't improve himself without trainer to
win Mr Sloan. Maybe he could find chess trainer. Is there anybody on this
list who would help Mr Bill to improve his chess skill? Maybe Taylor, Jerky,
"Wlod" or The Histerian?

Save the trainer for someone who might benefit.

I have played through those games--aack! I am hopeless!

I wouldn't agree that he is hopeless. He could still improve his play. I
couldn't say that The Histerian (Neil Brennen) could help him too much, but
he would be good like boxer's bag and Mr. Bill could improve his chess skill
a bit.

Playing Neil Brennen is the worst thing Bill Brock could possibly do.
Neil Brennen is not a chess player at all. He is barely above the
beginners level. Playing somebody like that makes your chess worse,
because you win every game and feel that you can beat anybody. Even
when you blunder you win, so your chess keeps getting worse and worse.

Bill Brock is doing the right thing to get better, by playing against
players better that he is, like playing in the all-master section of
the Chicago Open, where he lost the last four games in a row to
masters, or by competing against inately superior minds, like his three
games against Sam Sloan.
