It is obvious that Beatriz Marinello was paid personally for her
endorsement of the product. No company could or would publish an ad
like this one without paying the person who's name was used in the ad.

The contract was between Natrol and Beatriz Marinello personally.
While we are told that the USCF is to receive $5,000 and two
grandmasters that she agrees to provide who will take the drug and
play chess under the influence of this drug are to receive $300 each
(I am surprised that she claimed the ability to find two grandmasters
willing to do this) we do not know how much Beatriz herself was paid
but it is safe to conclude that the amount was probably considerable.
