| "George John" <my term as the Texas Chess Association President ends on
Labor Day,>
Are you friends with that Texas Chess Software Developer who raped and
abused that woman a few months ago? Didn't he use you as a reference? Wasn't
the woman he raped a Chess Tournament official?? What was your connection to
the rapist?

| MARINELLO ACCUSES STAN BOOZ OF LYING,
NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR INVOLVED WITH NATROL?
<It takes real integrity to admit your mistakes and take responsibility
for your actions. Bravo, Beatriz.> Matt Nemmers
In her self-serving message about Natrol, Beatriz Marinello
accuses Stan Booz of lying, in effect.
Mr. Booz told all of you that Don Schultz was
behind the Natrol decision. Mrs. Marinello states
that the other executive board members had no
knowledge of the agreement. Mr. Booz also wrote that
Mr. Schultz told him at the National Open that the
agreement would bring $50,000 to the Federation -- an
agreement that Mrs. Marinello now states Mr. Schultz
and other Board members were unaware of!
We now understand why Mr. Booz finally claimed
to be making another of his little "jokes." Though,
to be sure, he earlier claimed to be telling the truth
and would take a lie detector test if this writer and
many others would be called to testify on extraneous matters.
Finally, the pressure became so great that Mr.
Booz came up with his accustomed it was all a joke line.
How exquisitely shabby. One assumes that the
four on the ticket will ritualistically nod toward Mr.
Booz and tut-tut him, as Mr. John did, about not
making bad jokes, etc. Whereas Mr. John himself and
the others know that Mr. Booz is a squalid liar.
Is Mr. Booz equally honest in his professional
life as he has been on rgcp and fide-chess group?
As for the cost of the move, the price of a
building that will be the equivalent in size of the
one in New Windsor will mount to about a million
bucks. The total cost of the move will come to Sam
Sloan's earlier estimate of about $750,000. It will
take the better part of a decade to make up this mess.
So, then, what are the results of the borings
into bedrock on the Federation's "land" in
Cross-to-Bear? What about Radon testing? What about
the phony claim of saving $50,000 by not paving the
delivery area at the steep back entrance?
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN THE NATROL
DECISIONS? WAS HE AN EMPLOYEE OR EVER ASSOCIATED WITH NATROL --
ARRAIGNED FOR LEAD IN ITS
PRODUCTS -- IN ANY WAY?
No answer to this last question is yet forthcoming!

Nice turn of phrase, Larry. You really ought to be an editor
someplace, preferably at a magazine catering to nutcases who harbor
permanent grudges. Here's hoping!

What about the rumor that somebody in Malaysia is publishing a knockoff
of Fischer's book of best games, and is calling it "My 60 Memorable
Grins"? This looks like your handiwork, Larry. Are you moonlighting
as an editor? Was it difficult translating English into English?

Natrolgate! Is this even worse than the Crossville wetlands scandal,
Larry?
Don't worry, I'm sympathetic. I'd be cranky, too, if I spent all day
bowing and scraping for an Asian billionaire.
Your pal,
Charles

Lying or pulling Don's chain?

He knew at Las Vegas that there was a 50,000 deal pending.

Considering he was appointed only a few days before that tournament it
doesn't seem likely.
