You introduce the issue of the "message" vs. the "messenger."
Perhaps it is ironic, but Sloan's own reprehensible nature *is*
irrelevant. Sam Sloan's moral turpitude has absolutely nothing to do
with the article, the decision to publish it, or the repugnance with
which the article will be view by many parents, many of them who would
not know of Sloan at all.
