In this month's newsletter

- Games for two on valentines day
- Current eBay auctions
- Educational games, can you help us?
- Rules to draughts
- Free draughts set with orders over £50.00 in February

Valentines day is nearly upon us, prompting Compendia to take a look
at the best of the two player games from challenging modern card games
like Lost Cities to classic abstract games such as Go.

If you want to invest in a big valentines day present we are
auctioning some larger two player games on eBay. These include:
Large wooden Go Board, item number 5953209217
Glass Go Stones, item number 5954324377
Collapsible chess and backgammon table, item number 5954328646
Mahogany and leather backgammon board, item number 5954319853
All auctions end next week.

Our educational games pages have been a quiet success over the last
six months. We are hoping to build a better resource on the website
for teachers and parents to use traditional games for education. If
you use traditional games and would like to share your experiences and
tips then please email us, we would really love to hear from you.
Educational thank you presents will be forthcoming for our
contributors.

The rules to the beautifully simple game of draughts have been added
to the website. If you haven't played this since you were a child then
go back to it again and you'll be surprised by how absorbing and
enjoyable it is.
And for the month of February all orders over £50.00 will get a free
magnetic travel draughts set worth £6.95, while stocks last.

As ever, if you have any questions please get in touch,
Yours,
Megan
