Gordon had a good case. The reason people pick on Gordon is becasue
they want to use the usenet to hide and say things that they could not
say otherwise.

In the reality of money, a court of law will never rule against Google.
The common law doesn't matter. The facts are that it is easier to allow
the slander of people's reputations (lies, threats to kill) than to
bother google. The court is afraid to order things that will, in
pratice, never happen.

Until somebody important (i.e. George W. Bush) gets a death threat like
I did, nobody will care. You can pick on the little people. You can
even pick on rich people. You can not pick on powerful people. The law
will change.

If a terrorist threatens to kill George W. Bush like I was threatened,
the law will change.

Terrorists are smart people. Why risk it when the deal that they have
is so good now?
